What is the turnaround time?
Personalised orders will have a proof image emailed , 90% of the time, within the same day. Please allow up to 48 hours. You will be sent a text notification at the same time to ensure our email does not go to your spam/junk box.
Allow 7-14 days until delivery AFTER payment & you have APPROVED your proof image.
CHRISTMAS & END OF YEAR allow 10-21 days for postal congestion.
This allows for checking & production of your artwork, printing, laminating, framing, packing & postage. It also allows for stop work times like weekends & public holidays.
The time you take to get back to us regarding changes or approval of your proof images is not included in the turnaround time.
It is recommended that you order 2-3 weeks earlier to receive your item by a specified date, especially around the Christmas period or if ordering for a special occasion.
Can I see what my canvas will look like before you print it?
Yes. On designs that we create for you a proof image will be emailed to you so you can make changes, check spelling and approve of your design before printing.
Designs that you create with the Product Designer can be seen in real time. This is how they will be printed.
Postage fees & tracking?
Delivery Australia wide is FREE regardless of order size.
Once your item has been made & shipped, you will receive an email to say it has been posted.
All tracking details are available upon request.
If you would like to post outside of Australia please contact us. An extra fee will apply depending on your print size.
What canvas do you use?
We use a high quality 290gsm poly/cotton canvas. The canvas will not yellow crack or curl, has a smoother weave than 100% cotton and is less likely to stretch or sag than 100% cotton. It has a semi-gloss appearance that brings a brightness to colours.
What printer & inks do you use?
Epson Surecolour SC-S70680 printers are used combined with Epsom Ultrachrome GSX inks.
The 10 cartridge ink set includes an extended colour range with an orange that provides for superior skin tones, atmospheric and nature images, along with a new light black that provides for more neutral greys, an optional white and metallic silver for specialist and high-impact imaging.
Do you laminate your canvases?
Yes. A laminate is used that has proven high flexibility,waterproof, UV blocking and anti-fungal properties.
What thickness frame do you use?
You can choose between two frame thicknesses, 2cm and 3cm. The inner top edge of our frames are bevelled so no frame "shadow line" appears on the canvas. We recommend using 3cm frames on lengths 1m and above so your large canvases won't appear flimsy. Canvases are stapled & then felted backing tape is applied to protect your walls. Frames come with hanging attachments
Is colour display accurate?
Colours may appear different depending on your monitor settings & screen display setup, all devices produce and print colours differently. The back lighting & brightness settings of different screens also produces a brighter "glow" to colours. For your confidence we use superior printers & ink.
Do you provide images?
You can source a huge variety of quality photographs, professional illustrations, background patterns and vectors from www.istockphoto.com You can then choose any canvas shape to display them on, you even add text & clipart over the top of these images create your own personalised canvases.
What is the minimum image upload dpi?
Unlike other companies we have capped your image size so it will not fall below 180dpi. We do this to maintain your image quality and so your item will not appear pixelated as a result of to low a dpi.
What languages do you custom design in?
We design commissioned pieces in English. Not all of our fonts support extra glyphs needed for some languages.
How do you pack items?
All canvases are first vacuum wrapped with cling film, then cardboard corners are applied. Your art is then bubble wrapped & packed in a fitted cardboard box. If it is small enough it is also packed in a plastic satchel.
